Why did I choose my major?

 Hi guys! I hope had a good easter and received many chocolates. 

Well, when I was a child, I dreamed of being a veterinarian because I love doggies, but when I saw then I had to work with ill animals, I decided then is not what I wanted. Also, the scientific area is not my strongest. 

After school, I studied to become a lawyer, but I wasn’t happy, and I don´t liked the major. So, I started to investigate other options and I discovered my current major, Theory and History of Arts. Honestly, I chose it without knowing much about it, but I like the art and I have a sympathy for this. 

My experience at university is good in personal growth, but at same time, the pandemic started, and I haven’t enjoyed many things what I expected to live there.

We will see each other  another time. Cheers!

Time travel to the past or future

  I think I would like to travel to the past, there are many people that I would like to see again and other people that I didn't get to know and I would love to talk to them, besides it would be fun to go to concerts and activities of old artists that I would have liked to see. I would love to be able to travel to different moments of the past, I don't have a date or a specific moment, but I do know that I wouldn't like to stay there, I really like what I have in my present and what I could build in the future. I would be very afraid of seeing a future that I don't like and no matter how much I try to change my present, that future will be the same, it would be very frustrating, although it would be good to know certain things to see what decisions to take as a result of some things in my life. Changes to my study programme

My university experience was marked by the pandemic, my career is very theoretical and the few practical subjects I missed or I did not have them complete because of the virtuality, perhaps they could have done some workshops to complement the gaps that were had as a result of this situation, that is what the curriculum lacks, to contemplate such extra situations that limit us in our quality of professionals. I don't consider the workload to be so heavy, the problem is that each professor makes his own evaluation calendar and they don't relate to each other, so there are very busy weeks, where all the evaluations come together. What I like most about the infrastructure of the university are the green areas, there is a lot of grass and trees, it is nice to share and eat in that place; I hate the bathrooms, they are very ugly and it really seems that they do not take care of them, if I can avoid using them I do it. The contribution of my career

  I study theory and history of arts, career that allows me to work with all that an artist entail. There are many things to preserve and save, things not to forget because often give an even more special value to the works. I had the opportunity to do my internship at the Museo de la Solidaridad archive, which led me to understand the importance of preserve documents, photographs, letters of artist. This so that the people itself would see and understand in depth the life and desires of the artist behind a work. All of us in our homes have archives, photographs and elements of our ancestors or loved ones that we want to keep for the future. Here my career can contribute, to help realize the conservation of those elements so that they last longer, to know which elements are there and which ones are missing, since, in case of loss, it becomes non-existent.
